That's why, on its 60th anniversary, Durli Leathers is showing that having a solid foundation, which is concerned with caring for the people and nature around it, makes all the difference in building a successful journey.

And since good stories deserve to be shared, we've put together a special e-book detailing the Durli brothers' passion for leather, which began in Erechim, Rio Grande do Sul, in 1960. See what you'll find throughout the material!

Historical Milestones: Durli Leathers 60 years

In the first part of this historical record, we tell you how it all began when the brothers Jandyr, Olímpio and Egídio Durli borrowed money to buy a Patent Elastic machine to sew the leather they were handcrafting themselves. And then we list all the important steps along the way, such as the opening of new units, professional awards and recognition, their children joining the business and new projects. milestones that highlight the importance of family, united both in easy times and in the most challenging.

By the way, we also recorded one of the family's greatest losses, which will be missed by all who knew him: the death of Olímpio Durli in 2012. And we highlight his motto, which continues to influence the company to this day: "Let's make it work. Let's believe!".

Where are we going?

To close the e-book, we look to the future, to where Durli Leathers wants to go, as another of our founders, Jandyr Durli, says: "Wherever God and our work take us!". This work has borne fruit and continues to do so, as the six hands that began this prosperous story now number more than 3,000.
