Initial Process: Wet Blue Retanning Plant
Wet Blue's retanning plant is responsible for processing incoming leather, ensuring that each batch is accurately inspected to avoid deviations from specification. After inspection and rewetting, the leather undergoes drying, stretching and lowering to remove wrinkles, adjust thickness and improve uniformity. Processes such as retanning, dyeing and fatliquoring are applied to give the leather its final properties, including strength, appearance and polishability, before it is palletized for the next stage.
Final Process: Automotive Crust Drying Plant
The drying plant focuses on drying and preparing the leather in an efficient and controlled manner. After drying and stretching to remove excess moisture and open up the fibers. The leather goes through vacuum drying and advanced processes such as drying by controlled heating and irradiation (TAIC) in closed cabins, drying by the most advanced radiofrequency (RF) technology, or even stationary air-conditioned drying (LTD), offering reduced times and strict quality control. Additional steps such as softening, polishing, measuring and final inspection ensure that the leather is ready to meet the customer's specifications before shipment.

The LTD dryer works with air conditioning and controlled temperatures.
Initial drying process in a vacuum dryer that reduces the percentage of moisture, according to the customer's specifications.
The process operates only in the presence of water in the leather and dries the leather more evenly. This reduces drying time and improves softness. As a result, the radiofrequency process results in uniformly dry leather, with balanced moisture throughout its surface.
The TAIC leather drying system provides uniform drying, avoiding points of excess or lack of moisture. It reduces processing time, increases productivity and consumes less energy. In addition, the leather produced has a superior texture and consistency.
