Re-tanning

The leather goes through the retanning process, acquiring the desired color, softness and characteristics with excellence. Care is taken in this process to ensure that the dye reaches the entire material, passing through the skin with intensity of color, homogeneity and standardization. Dyeing at Durli Leathers gives the Crust leather color throughout its entire thickness, so that it can be used in different applications according to each client's most demanding specifications.

Semi-finished finish

Drying

A crucial stage in the process is the drying of the tanned leather. Controlled drying is carried out to remove most of the moisture, preparing the leather for the subsequent stages.

Logistics and Distribution

After the final inspection and quality approval, intelligent readers read the numerical codes marked on each leather in the formation of the pallets, making it possible to trace each piece. The Crust leathers are then carefully packed and prepared for distribution. Semi-finished leather is sold to manufacturers of leather products who wish to apply customized finishing processes to create final products, such as shoes, bags, belts, automotive coverings or furniture.

Each pallet receives a QR Code with all the information about its composition, leather by leather, with details of the respective animals, the origin of the farm, the slaughterhouse, the processes in the tannery, with traceability from start to finish and data on socio-environmental compliance. The end customer has access to each leather's UniCode and Invoice number and can access all the information. This way they can identify the origin of the leather they have bought and the transparency of all our processes.
